Will of Thomas RANGER

In the Name of God Amen. I Thomas RANGER of the parish of Cranbrook in the County of Kent, Carpenter, do make this my last Will and Testament in form and manner following. My just debts and funeral expenses and the probate of this my wWill being paid I give unto my son William RANGER that part of my dwelling house with all the out buildings belonging to it situate in the town of Cranbrook and now in his and my own occupation. I also give to the said William RANGER all my household furniture except a new mahogany table which I give to my son Thomas RANGER. I also give to my son Benjamin RANGER the other part of my aforesaid dwelling house with the premises belonging to it and now in the occupation of Robert ROLF. I also give to the said Benjamin RANGER the Timber and Boards in my shop which are proper for repairs with a Journeyman’s set of Carpenters Tools. I give and bequeath all my money and sureties for money with all the Residue of my Goods and Effects of what nature and kind soever to my three sons Thomas, William and Benjamin RANGER aforesaid to be equally divided among them and I do nominate my sons William RANGER and Benjamin RANGER and constitute and and appoint them the joint Executors of this my Will. Witness my hand and seal this twenty third day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety four - Thos. This Will was proved at London the twenty Sixth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety five before the worshipful Samuel? PEARCE PARSON Doctor of Laws and surrogate of the right honourable Sir William WIJINT Knight also Doctor of Laws, Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oaths of William RANGER and Benjamin RANGER the sons of the deceased and the Executors named in the said Will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the Goods, Chattels and Effects of the said deceased having been first sworn duly to administer —.
